Dairy husbandry professor P.M. Brandt served on the Oregon State College faculty as head of the Dairy Husbandry Department from 1917 until his retirement in 1957. He was born in Missouri and received his B.S. and A.M. degrees in agriculture from the University of Missouri in 1910 and 1913. Brandt fostered research related to both dairy production and dairy processing and was known for his advancement of the dairy industry in Oregon.
